Prerequisites:

Instalments:

This qualification provides individuals with the skills and knowledge to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in buildings and premises. It includes Electrical Regulatory Authority Council (ERAC), or their successor’s, Essential Performance Capabilities for an ‘Unrestricted Electrician’s license’.

There’s no pre-requisite for enrolling in this course. However, having some prior knowledge about the mechanical and HVAC industry will help you pace through the course work. Also, if you licensed in the electrical trade, you can receive credits for the common units between electrical and the HVAC course. If you have also completed the Cert II airconditioning installation and heat pumps, then you will also receive some credits. Please contact us and provide your official transcripts for us to assess your Credit Transfer check.

Yes, the course is nationally recognised and accredited under Australian qualification framework. After completing the course, you will receive a nationally recognised certification, that will help you achieve your license.

Course duration depends on your past study, work experience and your availability. We provide flexible study options, where you can fasttrack your completion if you possess previous study or experience. We also allow you to take time to complete if you feel like, you are too busy with work and not able to pace through the course.

Most theory part of the course is completed online. You can even complete your assessments online. You are only required to come to department for the workshop schedules.

Yes, we provide payment plans for our students. We don’t want you to stop our education or not progress in your career due to unexpected circumstances with your financial situation

If you have prior learning or experience, you would be eligible for our Recognition of Prior learning pathway. We will then request evidence documents related to your prior learning or experience, and some video evidences of you performing work related to the trade. Based on your submissions, our trainer and assessor will map the evidences to the units and if there’s any gap, we will provide sufficient gap training.

For handling refrigerant in Australia, Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) requires individuals to obtain full refrigerant handling license (RAC01). Please visit ARC website for more information: https://www.arctick.org 

Each state has it’s own licensing scheme as well. Please check your own state licensing requirements for learning more.
